Veneto Collaboratory was tasked with innovating Columbus’ tourism landscape with destination attractions to drive visitation for the Group Travel, Meetings and Convention markets.


Veneto Collaboratory implemented two Phases of Experiential Development from 2006-2010 which leveraged existing attraction assets into  new engaging and immersive experiences. Tourism partners included museums, cultural organizations, historic sites, culinary venues and retail stores in Columbus, Dublin  and Worthington, Ohio.


More than 40 new destination experiences were developed that drive visitation in the Group Travel, Meetings and Conventions markets. This created new product revenue streams for Columbus attraction partners and helped position Columbus as a leading tourism industry innovator in the development of Experiential travel products.
